A little about me...¿Hola, cómo estás? My name is Nelli Orozco and I am a graduate with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Spanish Education from Elizabethtown College. Basically, I am a Spanish teacher who is certified to teach in grades PK-12! I hope to one day teach Spanish in a lower middle school setting or even teach in a Spanish immersion classroom.I think the Spanish language is extremely beautiful and it is a very important part of who I am. Never did I think I would become a Spanish teacher, but I am!
I studied abroad in Valladolid, Spain for a year during my junior year of college in 2015-2016.. While abroad I was able to fully immerse myself in a new culture associated with the Spanish language and saw my Spanish language skills improve tremendously. This experience was one I will never forget! In March of 2017 I was selected to serve as an English teaching assistant in Logroño, La Rioja through a Fulbright grant! I loved my year teaching in La Rioja and was fortunate enough to be selected to renew my Fulbright grant in the Canary Islands! I served as an Au Pair several families over over Spain and even in Germany and France! I love teaching abroad full-time and taking advantage of all that Spain has to offer! I hope Spain is looking forward to having me back! I'll be sharing my experience as a Teaching Assistant in Spain through this blog and hope you enjoy what I have to share! |
